We’ve crafted a crisp, dry, Sauvignon Blanc alternative – by using full-strength wine as our starting point. Once we distilled off the alcohol, we made sure that what was left behind was all flavour.

Expect classic Sauv aromas of blackcurrant with a hint of fresh herbs. Grapefruit and tropical notes with layers of passionfruit and pineapple on the palate. How to taste.

Make sure your bottle is chilled before you pour yourself a glass. We recommend tasting Ara Zero before any full-strength alcohol and giving yourself a glass to get used to the unique, lighter style of alcohol-removed wine. Then enjoy, guilt-free – with 23 calories per 125ml serve, that’s half what you’d enjoy in most glasses of juice.

Tasting note

This refreshing alcohol-free wine shows classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc notes of tropical fruit and grapefruit. Layers of passionfruit and pineapple fill the palate, creating a delicious balance between fruit sweetness, juicy texture and a crisp, dry finish. Enjoy for its lighter style and low calories.

Harvest

Marlborough’s dry 2020 vintage created a bounty of intense flavour and quality for our Wairau Valley vineyards. Harvest was characterised by quality fruit with generous aromatics, concentrated flavour, texture and lovely natural acidity. Grapes for this wine were carefully hand selected for picking in parcels at the perfect ripeness.

Winemaking

This wine was crafted to provide an alcohol-removed option that still exhibits typical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc characteristics. We create premium, full-strength Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, before using advanced spinning cone technology to gently remove the alcohol. The delicate aroma is collected and recombined with the wine to maintain its distinctive nose. . This results in a refreshing style of non-alcoholic wine with low calories.
