Wonderful aromas of passionfruit, guava, grapefruit, lemon, and elderflower feature in this organic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical fruit flavours on the palate give way to subtle lemon and lime notes, underscoring beautifully bright acidity. Generous and complex with a lingering finish.

Our Marlborough vineyards saw a smooth start to the growing season. Winter and spring both exceeded the long-term rainfall average, while settled weather throughout the all-important flowering period aided fruit set. Summer temperatures were ahead of the long-term average, with cooler February and March temperatures supporting a long slow ripening period - perfect for flavour development and retaining acid levels.

Our winemakers gently pressed off the must prior to cold settling in order to build intense flavour and texture. Cool fermentation using selected yeasts contributed to aromatics and flavour. The wine rested on fine lees to build additional complexity prior to bottling.
